In recent weeks, our golf course has grown busier. We start a bold project to change the front yard. This work improves how the space works and how it looks. We update the club area and move the shipping container.
The Shipping Container Move
We chose to move the shipping container. It once faced one way. We needed it closer to the action. First, our team built a rock base. We smoothed a high spot and set a simple drain pipe. A track loader helped move heavy parts. The close links between our tools and the work made the task clear.
We used crushed limestone for the base. This choice gives a firm surface that holds up better than mulch. The container now sits on a strong ground and may serve many roles later. The container is tough—it can take a hit like a golf ball. It works well as a storage unit while staying safe.
Designing for Water Management
Heavy rains make water control a top need. We built a berm to guide water away from low spots. Before, water pooled and hurt the nearby areas. By raising certain parts, we made a barrier that leads water safely around the beds. This fix keeps structures intact and leaves room for new yard ideas. Soon, we will check moisture in the sandy soil to plan our watering steps.
A New Centerpiece for the Golf Course
The clubhouse plan is still forming. Moving the container and fixing the drain system set a clear path for a new look. The green now sits at the center and fits the land. We plan new shapes and zones to refine both play and style. Our goal is to form a space that works well for many events.
